Tim Comstock first started working with a friend’s family business in the mid 1980’s helping with real estate licensing and training. After 3 years of handling tasks related to sales, seminars, class curriculum management, and product distribution, moved on to retail sales in a sporting goods store while attending college. Tim obtained his AA from Ventura College with a 3.5 GPA. Then Transferred to Cal State Long Beach where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing degree. After college, he took on corporate jobs in the Lighting and home improvement industries. Tim worked for Huffy Corp. Lights of America, Philips Electronics and handled contract work for Home Depot, Lowes, and other smaller hardware chains. In 2002 he decided to go another direction and started working in Newport Beach, CA for a Real Estate Asset Management company. His skills were developed over those 3 years by handling thousands of properties from cradle to grave- meaning from foreclosure to resale. In October 2005 Tim moved back to Ventura County to start working with his father to prepare for the impending market crash. Like his dad; he served as a Director and later President of the local real estate board along with volunteering for several charitable causes. He has listed and sold hundreds of properties over the past 17 years and dealt with many scenarios most agents will never see in their careers. As a finisher of the Ironman Triathlon World Championships, he can boldly state that he will run circles around most agents.
